This Privacy Policy explains how US Construction & Remodeling Corp. (“US Construction”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our internal business mobile application and related services (the “App”).

The App is intended for internal business use by our employees and authorized contractors (“Authorized Users”) and requires a company login. If you are not an Authorized User, do not use the App.

2) Scope
This policy applies to:

  • The US Construction & Remodeling mobile application
  • Any related internal web portals or services used with the App (e.g., ERP features, scheduling, documents, contracts)

If you also use our public website, that site may have additional website-specific disclosures (e.g., cookies for website visitors).

3) Information we collect
We collect information in three ways: (A) information you provide, (B) information collected automatically, and (C) information related to messaging/SMS if used.

A) Information you provide
Depending on how you use the App, you may provide:

  • Account and profile information: name, email, phone number, address (if applicable), user role/permissions, and internal identifiers linked to your account.
  • Scheduling and appointment information: calendar events, appointment/estimate details, job and project notes, and locations/addresses entered by you or your team.
  • Customer/CRM and operational records: contacts, job records, work orders, internal CRM notes, sales records, accounting and operations records created during business operations.
  • Communications content: messages and content sent/received through the App or related business systems (including email/SMS content where applicable).
  • Verification and security information: OTP verification events (e.g., OTP hashes, attempt counts, lockouts), audit trail entries and activity logs.
  • Contracts and signatures: contract documents (including PDFs), signed copies or snapshots, signature images (if captured), signed name, signing time, consent timestamps, and signing context (such as IP address and user agent).
  • Documents and attachments: photos, files, images, and notes uploaded to the App and linked to jobs/projects.
  • Assistant and transcription data (if enabled): user prompts, conversation logs, action results, voice transcripts, audio recordings/chunks, transcript text, and session metadata/status.

B) Information collected automatically
When you use the App, we may automatically collect:

  • Device and log data: IP address, device identifiers, operating system/app version, browser type (if a web view is used), timestamps, pages/screens viewed, and related diagnostic logs.
  • Access/session data: session tokens and authentication data necessary to keep you logged in and secure your account.
  • Usage and diagnostics data: performance metrics, crash reports, and feature usage data used to operate and improve the App.
  • Approximate location: we may infer approximate location from IP address for security and fraud prevention. We also process job/customer addresses that Authorized Users enter into the system.

C) SMS and messaging metadata (when used)
If SMS or messaging features are used as part of your workflows, we may collect/store:

  • Message send time, delivery status, routing/metadata
  • The phone number used for sending/receiving messages
  • Related audit logs for compliance and troubleshooting
    We do not collect your mobile carrier billing details.

4) How we use information
We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the App and related business services
  • Create and manage user accounts, roles, permissions, and access controls
  • Schedule and manage jobs, appointments, and estimates
  • Enable contract workflows, signatures, document generation, and audit history
  • Send transactional/service communications (email/SMS) such as confirmations, reminders, updates, and verification messages (where applicable)
  • Maintain internal records for operations, quality control, dispute resolution, and compliance
  • Secure the App, detect/prevent fraud, spam, or abuse, and troubleshoot issues
  • Improve performance, reliability, and user experience

5) Legal bases (where applicable)
If you are in a jurisdiction that requires legal bases (e.g., EEA/UK), we rely on one or more of the following:

  • Performance of a contract / providing the service to Authorized Users
  • Legitimate interests (e.g., security, fraud prevention, service improvement)
  • Compliance with legal obligations
  • Consent (e.g., where you choose to enable certain optional features)

6) Sharing your information
We do not sell personal information and we do not share personal information for third-party advertising.

We may share information as follows:
A) Service providers (processors)
We share information with vendors and service providers that help us run the App and business operations, such as:

  • Hosting and infrastructure providers
  • Email/SMS delivery and verification providers
  • Document storage and collaboration providers
  • E-signature providers
  • Security, fraud prevention, logging/monitoring providers
  • If enabled, AI/assistant or transcription providers
    These providers may only process data for us under appropriate contractual protections.

B) Within our business
Information may be accessible to authorized employees and contractors based on role-based permissions and business need.

C) Legal, safety, and business transfers
We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

7) SMS communications (if applicable)
If SMS is used in your workflows (e.g., appointment updates), the following applies:

  • Consent: We store opt-in consent and timestamps when required.
  • Message frequency: Varies based on activity.
  • Costs: Message and data rates may apply.
  • Opt-out: Reply STOP to opt out at any time (for end recipients of SMS).
  • Help: Reply HELP for help.
  • Not a condition of purchase: SMS consent is not a condition of purchase.
  • Delivery: Mobile carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Providers: SMS services may be provided through third-party processors (such as Twilio). We share only what is necessary (e.g., phone number and message content) to deliver messages.
  • Mobile information: We do not sell phone numbers and we do not share mobile information with third parties/affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

8) Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to:

  • Provide and operate the App and internal services
  • Maintain audit trails and business records
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce agreements
  • Resolve disputes and troubleshoot

Retention periods can vary depending on the type of record (e.g., contracts, audit logs, job records). When no longer needed, we delete or de-identify information where appropriate.

9) Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. Measures may include role-based access controls, encryption in transit, logging/monitoring, and least-privilege access.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10) Your choices and rights
A) Account information
Authorized Users can request access, correction, or deletion of certain information by contacting us (see Section 13). Some information may be retained for legal, security, or administrative reasons.

B) Communications preferences

  • SMS: End recipients can opt out by replying STOP, and request help by replying HELP (where applicable).
  • Email: If any marketing emails are sent (if used), you can unsubscribe using the link in the email.

C) California privacy disclosures (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you may have rights to know/access, delete, correct, and opt out of certain “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (if applicable).
We do not sell personal information for money and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in connection with this internal business App.

11) International transfers
Information may be processed and stored in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those locations may have different privacy laws than your jurisdiction.

12) Children’s privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
